The mediacount made by ABS-CBN and GMA is misleading and not representative. It would have been better if they randomly picked 5-10 precincts (or more) from each district and not handpicking what to count. In that way, an accurate picture of who snatched the 12 senatorial seats and other positions is clearer. Also, by doing my suggestion, a virtual exit poll can be achieved.
Instead of being so arrogant and defensive, these two media giants should acknowledge that their count is lackingand could have done a better job. They should disclose where the votes that they are tallying are coming.
As much as our politicians and political system needs reforming, the media also needs reforming. They need more training to become at par with the best of the world. They have become too commercialized and virtually elected the front runners.
And why does ABS-CBN discredit their own exit poll? For a network aiming to regain their lost glory, it further increases the perception of their lack of credibilty.

Actually exit poll surveys done every elections is in good approximation but matches really close with the final results. Why? because of the strategic survey done by statisticians that studied it for more than 4 years.
