I got a glimpsed of some of the housemates for PBB2 last night. It was already 11 p.m. when the 4th contestant was introduced and it was too late to finish the show. Apparently, only six were named last night: Ezekiel Joshua “Zeke” Dimaguila, Wendy “Wendz” Valdez, Ronel “Nel” Rapiz, Saicy Aguila, Gianina Maria “Gee-Ann” Abrahan and Michael Richard “Mickey” Perz. Wendy Valdez is an eye-candy and here is what I found out from Mr. Google.
Wendy Manalus Valdez is Ms. Navotas 2000, Bb. Philipinas 2005 1st runner-up (Bb. Pilipinas Tourism) and a former PDA wannabee [YouTube]. She’s also a 4th year mascom student from FEU and a part-time commercial model (e.g. Lovapalooza 2007 [YouTube]).
Update: 27 Feb According to rumors from the UP grapevine, one of the remaining 8 housemates sa Bahay ni Kuya is former UP Fighting Maroons (6′3, Forward) Bruce Angelo Quebral. Bruce represented the Philippines in Manhunt International 2002 in Shanghai and appeared in the Revicon commercial with Asi Taulava.

Iam truly avid fan of pinoy big brother season 2, unluckily
I was late for the audition for the PBB season 2. And now as they give way to enter the PBB house together with Globe, I’m very much happy.. I keep on joining that promo and hope some notice my entries through text!!!
Well I’m just aiming for new true friends that can’t be found for a short span of time. And if given a chance I’d like to share them my life story so at least they can learn many things from it. My old friend keeps on telling me “Hey! Adelle your life story’s pang MMK, kasi lahat at ng sitwasyon sa buhay ng tao was intuck with your life… A whole in one!!! Any way that why I’d like to share it to others.. maybe if I am given a chance to be chosen I’ll have new true friends and I’ll touch others life…

uhummm….. favoritism is so transparent, so visible, so clear as pure crystal glass in this current pbb season 2 reality (kuno) tv show. building star wannabes like bruce and wendy should never be done at the expense of the viewers’ pocket. one of the housemates commented on objective reasoning in choosing evictees. she was right and very logical. just speaking out loud my opinion. nothing more….

Turn off me sa show , i wonder why it took a while before Big brother told wendy to compose herself. and mind you guys, sabi ng sabi si wendy plastic! siya ang pinaka PLASTIC, INGITERA PA. SANA ma evict na siya tonight, 1st day palang ni wendy sa PBB, na plastican na ako sa kanya. i was half disappointed and half happy on the eviction of bruce. he deserved to be out in the house because what a reason of him saying that he fought for wendy. is that the real reason why you went there to compete. matagal na sya dapat naalis kasi umikot na lang kay wendy ang buhay nya sa loob ng bahay ni kuya. but i was expecting wendy to be evicted first. sana sya na ang susunod sa thursday. kuya was right ng sabihin nya kay wendy na magkakaiba ang tao. hindi sya nagpapakatotoo ng gustuhin nyang iprovoke sina geean at beatriz, kasi gusto nyang ipakita sa mga tao na kaya nyang magpanipulate ng feeligs ng iba. nomination is a part of the game dapat alam nya iyon at nagpapakatotoo lang sila ng sabihin na si wendy ang gusto nilang maevict. kawawang bruce, sa mga pinagdaanan nya sa bahay at sa mga pinatunayan nya gaya ng pagpunta nya sa Slovenia ay sinayang lang ng isang wendy na ewan kung ganoon pa rin ang magiging pakikitungo nya paglabas nila. my big 4 beatriz, geean, mickey at bodie. more power to kuya and the pbb staff!

alam mo naiinis na kmi sa pbb dati its going interesting and so kilig but now so nakaka asar at maige pang i turn off ang tv namin to tell u sana i review u cna bruce at wendy kc its not gud 2 ol da televiewers ang ginigawa nila.nation wide cla so y they expose der so much kisssing ok lng cla….pag c wendy ang nanalo im sure big brother no more pbb season 3 at plis no favoritsm in dat show…i like gee-ann and bea bcoz they have a gud breeding.
please don’t judge wendy like that just because she’s from a slum area.. don’t you think you just can’t accept the fact that we sometimes commit the same mistakes that wendy did.. too bad cause we can easily judge other people without looking into our rotten attitudes.. no one inside the house is perfect, neither are we.. wake up!!!

I felt guilty this morning when i saw my dad heads up and staring at the sky while drinking coffee, and talked with me about his worries for the diminishing or deteriorating moral values of filipinos. I know that this concern with his observation of PBB TV show w/c also answers why WENDY still remain in the show.
My dad don’t usually watch local TV shows except for local news. But it was me who caught his attention when i told him about a very UNIQUE and DISGUSTING behavior and attitude of a certain PBB housemate. Thus after, He watch th show every night. he had seen how Wendy remains in the show, and wonder WHY, inspite of her negative personality. He suggested that she should be FORCIBLY EVICTED and SEE A PSYCHIATRIST.
Yesterday, my dad bought prepaid Globe cards worth P10,000.00 and distributed it to his employees and asked them to vote for the four candidates . I was surprised for his action, and when i asked, He simply told me that he need to help elevate the moral concept of the filipinos and eliminate an unwanting candidate who can BADLY INFLUENCE them if SHE reamins in a public sight.
but after last night PBB HOUSEMATE EVICTION, He was so disappointed. He is so worried for it’s negative impact to the youth. He even doubt that a manipulation within the show exist to FURTHER GAIN PROFIT from viewer’s votation., aside from is doubt that Wendy might left a covenant to lift her in the show with her “GAY-allies” or “SECRET DOM” not to mention the advantage of BRUCE being OUT who can spend BIG to cast votes for her.
BUt even so if my dad’s doubt is not REAL, he concluded that PBB show is still untimely for majority of Filipinos who are still immatured and accept the mess and stinks the showbiz offers. HE just Hope and Pray that someday, TV shows would do their part for Filipino Values and moral upgrading as well as responsible broadcasting.
meanwhile, My dad will stop watching TV shows again…..
